Backorders & Returns

Back Orders:

Any item(s) that may be out of stock at time of ordering, you will be notified via email of the expected delivery date.
Should we receive no response from our email, we will assume you are happy with the delivery date, and we will continue with the order and deliver on that date or beforehand if possible. If the delivery date is unacceptable, please respond to our email and we will cancel the backorder and you will not be invoiced.

Returns Policy:

If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we want to hear about it. Let us know if something is wrong and we will do what we can to make it right.
We need to hear about any problem within 3 days to allow us to work within the policies of our distributors and business partners.
The Buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods on receipt to check for damage, discrepancies and shortages. A delivery note signed by the Buyer or its agent is conclusive proof of correct delivery. Claims in respect of short deliveries, discrepancies or damage to goods in transit must be notified by the Buyer to the Seller in writing within 3 days of receipt of the goods. No claim can be made outside this time period.

A minimum handling charge is applicable for returned items that have been opened or are not in pristine condition (if accepted for return at Westborne’s discretion). The charge is levied against the order value and type of item ordered.
The responsibility for return of non-stationery items is that of the customer (unless Westborne offer this as part of the return fee). Collection must be available from the ground floor and the goods must be ready when the driver arrives, otherwise any second collection attempt will become chargeable.

Returned stationery.
Items under a value of £30 have a collection and restocking fee of £8, items £30 or more have a straight 20% handling fee.

Returned non-stationery.
A separate returns procedure applies in respect of electronic office supplies, business machines and IT hardware. Where the manufacturer or distributor operates a returns policy, returns will only be accepted in accordance with that policy which is available on written request.

Deliveries/Collections are UK only.
